While the long, rockered schnoz keeps the front floating, the big cut-out swallow tail not only helps drop the tail in (and keep the nose afloat), but by reducing the surface area in the tail, it enables you to slash hard or stomp the tail in and send up huuuge sprays without ditching all your speed like a ‘regular’ shape. So you can ride, jump, slash, hoon in a much more controlled, centred stance all day without getting the back leg burn. Plus some regular camber between the bindings, medium+ flex and the feels-shorter-than-the-number-says running length give you enough control to still enjoy riding this board late in the day too. Yeah if you’re a good rider you can ride anything anywhere, but even then having the right tool for the job makes it soooo much more enjoyable!
